For electrical contractors
More electrical calls, straight from your website
Put an EV charger estimator on your website. Homeowners say where the charger will go, how far it is from the panel and what their panel looks like, and see your prices in about a minute. You get the call, with the job already described.

More calls from the same website
Homeowners who can see a price for their charger install are more likely to call you than the next electrician. Your estimator turns a browsing visit into an enquiry.
Fewer wasted site visits
People see your real numbers first, including panel work, so the ones who call already know the job fits their budget.
Estimates while you're on a job
New EV owners look for an installer the evening the car arrives. Your website prices the job then, and the enquiry is waiting in the morning.
Enquiries ready to quote
Charger location, distance from the panel, panel capacity and the package they chose arrive with every lead.
Sell the charger as well
Install only and charger with install side by side makes it easy for customers to buy the charger from you.
Your prices, your rules
Your install prices, your rate per foot and your permit fee. Detached garages and trenching go to an assessment instead of a guess.
Estimators for every electrical job you sell
Start with the ready-made EV charger template, then add estimators for the other work you do.
EV charger installation
Install only or with a charger, wire run per foot, panel capacity, outdoor mounting and permit.
Panel upgrades
Upgrade to 200 A by current panel size, with a meter base, permit and an assessment for service changes.
Hot tub hookups
A dedicated circuit with a disconnect, priced by distance from the panel, plus outdoor wiring as an extra.
Standby generators
Generator size packages with a transfer switch, gas connection and concrete pad as options.
Pot lights
Price per light, with switches, dimmers and an extra for plaster ceilings or second floors.
Basement wiring
Finished basement wiring priced per square foot, with extra circuits and a subpanel as add-ons.
The EV charger estimator, as your customers see it
Charger location, distance from the panel (with “I don't know”), panel capacity (with “I don't know”), and two packages: install only or charger and install.
Try it as a customer would
Fictional business and sample prices. Preliminary estimate based on the answers; final pricing follows an assessment.
What you control
- Installed prices for installing a customer's charger or supplying your own.
- A rate per foot for the wire run, and the length you assume when the customer doesn't know.
- Panel options: a load management device or a panel upgrade, each at your price.
- Outdoor mounting and your permit and inspection fee.
- Assessment stops for detached garages and runs that need trenching.
What stays with your site visit
The estimator doesn't do a load calculation or decide what the code requires. The customer's distance and panel answers are their best guess. The estimate states its assumptions, and your visit sets the final price.
What your office receives
When you choose to collect contact details, the enquiry includes the charger location, wire run distance, panel answer and the package price the customer saw.
- Where will the charger go?
- Outside, on the house wall
- Distance from the electrical panel to the charger
- 32 ft
- Room in your electrical panel
- 200 A or more, with space for a new breaker
Fictional example. Your estimator decides whether to ask for contact details.
Electrical questions
What if the homeowner doesn't know the distance to the panel?
The template prices a stated 50 ft run and tells the customer you'll measure on site. You can change the assumed length, or ask for an assessment instead.
How does it handle a full panel?
Customers choose between a panel with room, a full or 100 A panel that needs a load management device, or a panel that needs replacing. If they don't know, the estimate shows a range from no panel work up to an upgrade.
Can I price only installs where the customer supplies the charger?
Yes. Remove the charger package and show one price. You can also rename the packages or add a third, for example a higher-power charger.
What about detached garages?
The template sends detached garages and post mounts to an assessment, because the underground run varies too much to price from a few answers. You can price them if you have a standard approach.
