Terms of Service
Last updated October 14, 2026
1. Who we are
Estimator Studio is a service that lets trade and home-service businesses build price estimators and put them on their websites. It is owned and operated by CloudLine Software ("CloudLine", "we", "us"), Suite #BCP97, 444 Alaska Avenue, Torrance, CA 90503, USA. You can reach us at mail@estimatorstudio.com.
2. Who these terms are for
These terms apply to the business that creates an account ("you") and to everyone you invite to it. If you sign up for a business, you confirm you're allowed to accept these terms for it. You must be at least 18.
Your customers who use an estimator on your website are not parties to these terms. You are responsible for your relationship with them.
3. Your account
- Keep your sign-in details safe. You're responsible for what happens under your account and for the people you invite and the roles you give them.
- Give us accurate business details. We use your country to set your billing currency.
- Tell us straight away if you think someone has used your account without permission.
4. Plans and prices
- Free plan: one live estimator with the features described on our pricing page. Estimators on the free plan show a "Powered by Estimator Studio" badge that links to our website.
- Unlimited plan: unlimited live estimators for $35 USD a month (businesses outside Canada) or $45 CAD a month (businesses in Canada), billed monthly in advance through Stripe.
- CloudLine member price: if you already pay the regular price for another CloudLine product, you can get the Unlimited plan for $10 USD or $13 CAD a month. We confirm membership when you subscribe. If your other CloudLine subscription ends, your Estimator Studio price returns to the regular price from your next renewal. We email you at least 10 days before that happens.
- Prices don't include taxes. We'll add any sales tax we're required to collect.
- We may change prices. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email, and the change applies from your next renewal after that.
5. Your prices and your estimates
You set every question, package and price in your estimators. Templates start with sample prices that you must replace or confirm before publishing. Estimates shown to your customers are preliminary and based on your prices and their answers. They are not binding quotes unless you choose to treat them that way. You are responsible for the accuracy of your prices, for honouring or explaining them to your customers, and for complying with any pricing, consumer-protection or advertising rules that apply to your business.
6. Your content and your customers' information
- You own the content you put into Estimator Studio: your questions, prices, logo and settings.
- When your customers send an enquiry or ask for a copy of their estimate, the details go to you. For that information, you decide what is collected and how you use it. We store and process it for you, only to provide the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how.
- You're responsible for having a lawful basis to collect your customers' details, for telling them how you use them (for example in your own privacy policy), and for following anti-spam rules such as Canada's CASL when you contact them.
- You give us permission to host, copy and display your content only as needed to run the service for you, including showing your estimator on the websites where you place it.
7. Acceptable use
You agree to follow our Acceptable Use Policy. We may remove content or suspend an estimator or account that breaks it.
8. Integrations you connect
If you send enquiries to other tools (for example through webhooks or Zapier), those tools are run by other companies under their own terms. We're not responsible for what they do with the data once it reaches them.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep Estimator Studio running smoothly but can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may improve, change or remove features. If we remove something important to a paid plan, we'll tell you in advance where we reasonably can.
10. Cancelling and ending
- You can cancel a paid plan any time from your Billing page. See Cancellation & Refunds.
- You can ask us to close your account by emailing mail@estimatorstudio.com.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that doesn't pay, or where we're required to by law. Where it's fair to, we'll warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
11. Our liability
To the extent the law allows: Estimator Studio is provided "as is"; we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits, lost jobs or pricing disputes with your customers; and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For significant changes we'll email account owners at least 30 days before they take effect. Using the service after that means you accept the new terms.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of British Columbia, unless the law of your location gives you a right to use your local courts.
