Frequently asked questions

Do I need to know programming?

No. You build the estimator with forms: questions, answer options, your prices and packages. No code or formulas to write.

Where do the prices come from?

From you. Templates start with clearly marked sample prices, and you can't publish until you've replaced or confirmed them. We never use industry averages in your estimator.

Is the estimate a binding quote?

No. Customers see a preliminary estimate or range based on their answers and your prices, with your assumptions. Final pricing follows your normal assessment.

What happens when a customer doesn't know an answer?

You choose for each question: show a price range, use a stated assumption, or ask for an on-site assessment. A missing answer is never treated as zero or the cheapest option.

Can an estimator stop and ask for an assessment?

Yes. You can set conditions, such as a fuel conversion, that show an assessment request instead of a price, for the whole estimate or for specific packages.

Can I rename packages or use a different number of them?

Yes. Name packages the way you sell them, use from one to six, and mark what each one already includes so nothing is charged twice.

Do I have to collect customers' contact details?

That's your choice: no contact form, an optional enquiry after the result, or contact details required before the result. You also choose which fields to ask for.

Will it work on my website?

Yes, on most websites. You paste a short embed code where the estimator should appear, or share a hosted link if your website doesn't allow code. See website compatibility and the help guides for details.

What does it cost?

Your first estimator is free, live on your website with everything included, for as long as you like. Unlimited estimators cost $35 USD a month in the United States or $45 CAD in Canada. If you already pay for ProsGrade or ReviewTec, it’s $10 USD ($13 CAD) with your member code.

What happens if I cancel?

You can cancel any time from your billing page. Everything stays live until the end of the paid period. After that you’re on the free plan: your first live estimator keeps working, and your drafts and enquiries are kept.

Do you share or sell my enquiries?

No. Enquiries belong to your business. We don't sell them or pass them to other contractors.
