How the price is worked out
Each service has a price per package for inground and above-ground pools. In the sample, opening an inground pool is $325 (Standard) or $525 (Premium). A medium pool adds 15% of that service charge, a safety cover adds $75 and cloudy water adds $90. The start-up chemical kit is $140 in Standard and already included in Premium. That gives $680 and $770 before tax, rounded to the nearest $5.
Large pools add 30% of the service charge. Safety covers and hot tubs are charged for each visit, so “both” costs more than one. Water questions are asked only for openings. If the owner doesn't know the pool size, it's priced as medium and says so. If they can't see the water, the estimate shows a range from clear to green.

Good to know
Equipment repairs, leaks and replacement covers aren't priced in the template. The estimate isn't a booking, and it says the price is preliminary.
