How the price is worked out

Every job starts with a $95 service call. In the sample, three new locks are $95 each with standard hardware and $260 each with high-security hardware: $285 and $780. Four extra keys are $6 each, or $35 each for restricted high-security keys: $24 and $140. Totals are rounded to the nearest $5. That gives $405 and $1,015 before tax.

Rekeying is $30 per lock in both packages, because the customer keeps their existing hardware. An evening or weekend visit adds 25% of the service call and lock work, not of extra keys. Small jobs never show less than the $150 minimum. The template's introduction tells customers who are locked out to call instead.
