For locksmiths
More lock change calls, straight from your website
Put a lock change estimator on your website. Customers choose rekeying, new locks or a smart lock, say how many locks and keys they need, and see your prices in about a minute. You get the call with the job already described. It's for planned work: lockouts and emergencies stay a phone call, not an estimate.

More calls from the same website
People who just moved in want to know roughly what new locks cost. When they can see your price, more of them call you.
Fewer pricing calls
Customers price rekeying and new locks themselves, so your phone time goes to booking jobs and real lockouts.
Planned work priced after hours
Your website prices lock changes at night and on weekends, and the enquiry is waiting when you're back in the van.
Enquiries ready to book
Type of work, number of locks, extra keys, the preferred time and the package they picked arrive with every lead.
Sell the high-security option
Standard and high-security hardware side by side makes the step up easy to see, and a smart lock is one choice away.
Your prices, your rules
Your service call, prices per lock and after-hours rate. Safes and master-key systems go to a visit instead of a guess.
Estimators for the planned work you sell
Start with the ready-made lock change template, then add estimators for the other work you do.

Fictional business and sample prices. Preliminary estimate based on the answers; final pricing follows an assessment.
What you control
- Your service call, charged once on every job.
- Prices per lock for rekeying, new locks and smart locks, with rekeying the same in both hardware levels.
- Extra keys, with restricted keys priced higher on high-security hardware.
- After-hours visits as a percentage of the service call and lock work.
- Safes and master-key systems go straight to an assessment.
What stays with your visit
Door condition, unusual lock types and what fits the existing holes. The estimate states its assumptions, and you confirm the final price on site before starting.
What your office receives
When you choose to collect contact details, the enquiry includes the type of work, the number of locks and keys, the preferred time and the package price the customer saw.

Locksmith questions
What about lockouts and emergencies?
Those should be a phone call. Someone locked out needs you, not a form. The template's introduction tells customers to call for a lockout, and you can put your phone number next to the estimator on your page.
How does it count locks?
Each keyed lock counts once, so a door with a handle lock and a deadbolt is two. The question explains this to the customer.
Why is rekeying the same price in both packages?
Rekeying keeps the customer's existing locks, so the hardware level doesn't change the work. New locks and smart locks are priced per package, because the hardware is different.
Can I price safes and business systems?
The template sends safe work and master-key systems to an assessment, because they need planning on site. If you have set prices for some of that work, add your own questions and prices.
