Show customers two local moving prices, moving only and moving with packing, based on their home size. Distance, stairs, heavy items, storage and weekend moves are handled your way, and the jobs you need to see first go to an assessment.

How the price is worked out
Each home size has a price for each package, and the packing package includes packing labour and materials. In the sample, a two-bedroom move is $1,400 for moving only and $2,150 with packing. Travel between homes is $3 per km, so 30 km adds $90. Two flights of stairs at $90 each add $180, and an upright piano adds $350. A weekend move adds 15% of the home-size price: $210 and $322.50. Totals are rounded to the nearest $10. That gives $2,230 and $3,090 before tax.
The weekend charge is based on the home-size price only, not on travel, stairs or extras. If the customer doesn't know the distance, the estimate prices a 20 km move and says so. If they haven't picked a day, it shows a range from weekday to weekend. Homes with four or more bedrooms, moves over 80 km, grand pianos and hot tubs go to an assessment instead of a price.

What still needs your walkthrough
How much the customer actually owns, parking and access at each home, and anything fragile or unusual. The estimate shows its assumptions and says the price is preliminary.
