How the price is worked out

In the sample, 120 feet of cedar at $65 per foot is $7,800. Two gates add $1,000, removing the old fence at $8 per foot adds $960, mobilization is $250, and sloped ground adds 10% of the fence charge only ($780), for $10,790 before tax. Gates, removal and mobilization aren't included in the slope percentage, and you choose what a percentage is based on.

The fence length excludes gate openings; each gate is priced as its own item. If a customer isn't sure about the terrain, the estimate shows a range from flat to sloped instead of guessing.
