1. Save, then open Test
The Test screen uses your saved draft. Save first (Ctrl+S works), then choose Test in the left menu.
2. Re-create a few real jobs
Pick three to five recent jobs you know the price of: a typical one, a small one, and a complicated one. Answer the questions as that customer would have and compare the result with what you actually charged.
Below the result you'll see a step-by-step explanation of how the price was built: which items applied, any minimum, and the rounding. If a number looks wrong, the explanation shows which price item to adjust on the Pricing screen.
3. Try the awkward answers
- Choose I don't know on each question that offers it, and check the range, assumption or assessment request is what you intended.
- Try answers that should stop for an assessment or rule out a package.
- Try very small and very large measurements, to check your minimum and limits.
4. Clear the readiness check
The Ready to publish? panel lists anything that would stop publication, such as missing prices, sample template prices not yet confirmed, or a question a price item depends on that was removed. Select an item to go straight to the right screen.
5. Publish when you're happy
On Publish, the checklist confirms your estimator is complete, your email is confirmed and your subscription is active. Every publish is saved as a version, and you can switch back to an earlier one at any time.
